BINGO RAIDER BUSTED

The South Wales Echo reported that a Mark Bolter, from Castle Bingo in Canton, Cardiff,a 20-year-old from the Welsh capital, made off with bingo prize money worth £1,356.64.

Mr Bolter's escape was foiled by the CCTV cameras though. He was caught red handed by the cameras which had seen him steal the envelope of cash from under a counter.

Addressing the court for the prosecution, Anne Mead said: "The defendant went into Castle Bingo and spoke with staff in the reception area.

"Staff had placed prize money in an envelope under the shelf of the counter. As the defendant was talking to staff, he leant over the counter and took the envelope."

Mr Bolter is remanded in custody awaiting sentencing which is the best place for him! Online bingo fans can be sure that Mr Bolter or other's like him won't be able to get their hands on any winnings from the bingo websites!
